All that glitters is not always gold: sometimes it is brass

We set up Anna K.E.’s expansive installation in record time in the Georgian Pavilion at the 58th Venice Biennale. In the interview, Anna K.E. talks about her search for a place to produce art and how she found the right partner in werk5.

The design teams from Bugatti and KPM came together for an extraordinary project:

The iconic dancing elephant was originally to be produced as a limited edition at the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin. In the end, an automotive work of art was created.

We accompanied the process with a 3D scan of the figurine and its execution in different scales, from 1:1 to 5:1.

The German Theatre Prize DER FAUST – designed by Erich Wonder – has been awarded in eight categories since 2006. Since 2015, we have been producing the prize in brass, which is polished to a high shine after each single work step.
