Fair Exhibits

How to make your next trade fair appearance the No.1 topic of conversation

  • At a trade fair, you vie for attention. Stage your product in such a way that it captivates people from afar and abstract solutions become plausible applications. SAP impressed visitors of the CeBit 2018 trade show with a presentation designed as an amusement park – including a Ferris wheel and a view over Hanover.

  • Everyone stops in front of this wall. But only briefly, because only movement makes the wall glow. With the luxurious feel of Corian®, this interactive exhibit facilitates lead generation at any event.

  • This is where people come together. The Corian® bar is an eye-catcher and furniture at the same time: a plus especially for small exhibition stands. And at the next company party anyway.

  • Acrylic sets the scene for this exhibit with its light-conducting properties. Thanks to RGB LED, you can choose which colour best suits your design and select it via remote control.

  • A thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) is a system for insulating the exterior walls of buildings. Brillux illustrates the advantages of insulation in its own show truck with the “Thermal Insulation” exhibit. Using a thermal imaging camera, visitors can see for themselves how ETIC systems can contribute to energy-efficient living.

  • Technical research to take away:

For the presentation of flexible thin glass, decoating and energy harvesting, a series of vivid and partly interactive exhibits made of Corian® were created for the Fraunhofer-Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP, Dreden.

Logo & Brand

Give weight to your brand

  • Gourdin&Müller developed a signage system that picks up on the duality of the interior. Each of the three-dimensional signs and letters was individually milled from the PU Block Material using CNC technology, painted and made resistant to long-term use with an extra layer of acrylic. The visually restrained suspension with aluminium rods and steel cables blends in perfectly with the new building.

  • At trade fairs or in city centres, you create an advantage with successful long-distance effect. This way, your brand remains in the memory and is more easily recognised. For Commerzbank, we produced the memorable figurative mark from different materials.

Awards

A recognition that makes proud

  • Did you recognise the dove?

For the design of the Cinema for Peace Award 2008 GRAFT extruded the symbol for peace into a flowing form. The sculpture made of solid acrylic was matted and then engraved with the names of the award winners.

  • The German Theatre Prize DER FAUST – designed by Erich Wonder – has been awarded in eight categories since 2006. Since 2015, we have been producing the prize in brass, which is polished to a high shine after each single work step.

  • The European Parliament has announced the winner of the LUX Audience Award 2022 during a ceremony in Strasbourg. The film “Quo Vadis, Aida? ” by Jasmila Žbanić.

Objects of Desire

What do you expect from a brand? That every touch point with the customer becomes an encounter with the corporate identity – down to the last detail.

  • Who determines which stories we tell ourselves?
How does the predominantly male historiography look at the role of important women? Lisa Ertel und Anne-Sophie Oberkrome gave shape to the questions about the sovereignty of interpretation of history. Inspired by the fate of Aggripina, the founder of Cologne, whose statues were destroyed by her son Nero and who is denounced by male historians as a bloodthirsty ruler, the “Throne Pina” was created.
The designers combined marble – the stone of gods and rulers of Rome – with Corian®, which is a mineral material that looks and feels almost like marble.  The material was thermally shaped into the desired form in our workshop.

  • Evaluate real traffic data – vividly and informatively:

With the HERE Future Mobility Visualizer, information becomes visible through object recognition on a capacitive 4K monitor. The housing made of Corian® and acrylic is backlit with LEDs and picks up on the design of the application. The table was presented for the first time at CES 2017 in Las Vegas.

  • The design teams from Bugatti and KPM came together for an extraordinary project:

The iconic dancing elephant was originally to be produced as a limited edition at the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin. In the end, an automotive work of art was created.

We accompanied the process with a 3D scan of the figurine and its execution in different scales, from 1:1 to 5:1.

  • Hygienic and easy to clean:

Corian® is an ideal material – also for interior designers. Thanks to its easy mouldability, there are hardly any limits to your design wishes. This sculptural bathroom was designed as a 3D CAD model and the different triangular tiles were assembled by hand.

  • On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Deutsche Bank Art Collection, an interior design by Zaha Hadid was produced as a scaled-down sculpture. Each of the 250 sculptures -125 translucent and 125 opaque copies –  was numbered and provided with the artist’s signature.
