The Berlin-based artist Alicja Kwade works mainly in the fields of sculpture and installation.

She explores structures of reality such as time and space as well as value systems that determine how we perceive the world and what constitutes the real.

Through the catchy symbolism of the elements in her work, she always finds a successful form of expression that appeals to a broad spectrum of people on both a visual and aesthetic level.
